Under the auspices and supervision of Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid, Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, a campaign of afforestation and cultivation of the entrances of the buildings of the College of Arts was launched today.

The specialized agricultural staff planted trees, and covered the entrances with a layer of natural grass to add a touch of nature's beauty and splendor to the college.
