The Continuing Education Unit in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled (Belief in abilities and enhancing self-confidence and its impact on the human industry).

The seminar, which was moderated by the Director of the Continuing Education Unit lect. Dr. Mayada Qais Ramadan, and in which the trainer Ali Shaker Rashid Al-Muttalibi (a certified trainer from the International Research, Exchange and Development Council (IREX)), aims to create a harmonious spirit capable of integrating with each other to form a large social unit that takes its ability from the strength of integration and the cohesion of its components, and emphasis on the elements of personal cohesion, the most important of which is self-confidence.

The lecturer in the seminar dealt with important topics, including the mechanism by which the individual reaches his subconscious mind through unconscious behavior, how to enhance self-confidence, the most important steps towards success for the academic student, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

In conclusion, the participants in the seminar called for shedding light on holding similar seminars to enhance self-confidence among Iraqi university students.
