Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Wahhab al-Asadi and Dr. Kholoud Kazem al-Jurani, the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific trip for students in the third stage of undergraduate studies, to the Palm Research Center and the Marine Sciences Center at the University of Basrah, to activate the applied side, Some lectures were delivered by the professors in the two centers to students in water science laboratories, soil laboratories, marine laboratories, and sedimentary laboratories, for the purpose of identifying the method of laboratory analysis of samples, the nature of dealing with them, and knowing the feasibility of analyzing them.
