The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems held a panel discussion entitled Readings in the book (Geography of Violence) by the experienced professor, Dr. Bassem Abdulaziz Al-Othman.

The author gave a broad presentation of the book's contents, including an explanation of the concept of violence, its types, and the natural and human geographical factors determining the spatial distribution of types of violence.  

In the context of this presentation, the author discussed methods, criteria and indicators for determining the level of violence.
