Within the scientific activity of the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, an elite of the department instructors represented by Prof. Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jaafar, Prof. Dr. Hani Obaid Zubari, Lect.Dr. Mustafa Salem Hazim, Lect.Dr. Mohsen Tohme Yousef, Lect.Dr. Sahira Hussein Mahmoud, and Lect.Dr.  Zainab Abbas Hassan, accompanied by third-stage students, went on a scientific trip to the Natural Museum located in the area of the presidential palaces, to learn about the history of Iraq and the artifacts of its civilization that are in the museum, and to get acquainted in detail with the peoples who inhabited Iraq in the past.

The students praised the importance of this trip, and the amount of scientific benefit from it, and praised the efforts of the instructors in providing them with everything that would achieve their scientific and academic progress.
