The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held a scientific trip for the students of the third stage to the Al-Nakheel Tourist Resort, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab Al-Asadi, Dr. Salem Jassem Al-Jumaili, Dr. Kholoud Kazem Khalaf, Dr. Suad Abdullah Fadih, and the president of observers, Mr. Imad Abdulaziz  .

During their tour, the students were briefed on the natural museum, the nature of water resources in the region, the reality of the natural and mummified environment, and other field observations of the picturesque landscape.
