The instructor in the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, Prof.Dr. Alaa Kamel Salih al-Issawi, participated in (Anis al-Nufous - Imam Ali bin Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him) - Award for international intellectual creativity) held by the Islamic University in Najaf, with the participation of researchers from different countries.

Prof. Dr. Alaa Kamel Salih Al-Issawi won the intellectual creativity shield in this competition, which aimed to study the biography of Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Ridha (peace be upon them both) from all aspects.

The instructor presented a research entitled (Aspects of the life of Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) - study and analysis), in which he dealt with the study of various aspects of the religious, intellectual, scientific, political and educational life of the Imam (peace be upon him), and the sciences and knowledge he presented to a group of students who took it upon themselves to publish the knowledge of Muhammad and his family.
