Within the framework of community service and the promotion of humanitarian aid and communication with other institutions, the Department of Translation at the College of Arts visited the Children's Specialist Hospital in Basra to see the conditions of sick children, and to provide them with in-kind assistance.

The visitor and its supervisor, Prof. Dr. Abd al-Amir Hashim Allawi, with a group of students of the department, accompanied by Assistant Professor Hala Ghaleb al-Nahi from the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies, inspected the hospital departments on a tour to distribute gifts and in-kind aid to these children.
