Prof. Dr. Shukri Al-Hassan, an instructor in the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems, participated in a scientific seminar held by the American University in Sulaymaniyah on war, environment and health.

The lecture dealt with the issue of the carcinogenic effect of gaseous emissions in Basra.  This participation is within the framework of consolidating joint scientific cooperation between our college and other universities.
