Undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah attended a scientific seminar held by American Columbia University via the (Zoom) platform.

Dr. Shukri Al-Hassan, who participated in the seminar , stated that this scientific cooperation initiative is the first to bring together students from the University of Basrah with students from an American university, and its aim is to enhance the exchange of scientific knowledge for our students with other universities in the world.

At the end of the seminar, some students asked important questions to the participants in the seminar, whose topic revolved around the issue of pollution and cancer diseases.
