The e-learning unit at the college of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on how to write research and select the research material for the students of the Departments of the College, the third stage in particular, which was presented by the trainer Zainab Yousef Yacoub / employee in the office of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and under the management of engineer Abbas Fadel Al-Sultan, director of the E-Learning Unit and Mr. Muhannad Ahmed Yacoub / International Relations Unit at the College of Arts.

The workshop aims to develop students' skills in research writing, accessing facts from their environments, understanding them according to their circumstances and conditions, and building on that in order to reach descriptions, analyses, and conclusions.

The workshop included a practical presentation of the research writing stages such as (research title, abstract, introduction, questionnaire, content analysis, inference ratio, writing margins and numbering, and conclusion).
