The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a lecture entitled (The Purpose of Creation and Proof of Divine Power).

 The lecture was presented by Sheikh Abd al-Basit al-Sahlani, director of the Al-Kawthar Qur’anic Center and the recipient of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, aims to remind human, link him to his Lord, and make him aware of the goal for which he was created, and to live his humanity as a human being, away from the desires that overcome his mentality and usurp his will.

 The Sheikh also touched on self-discipline and imitation of the Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and imitation of al-Zahra and al-Sayeda Zeinab, peace be upon them both.

Sheikh Hani al-Asadi, director of the Religious Reporting Center at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, concluded with religious questionnaires and answers to them.
