Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basrah, professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, and the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Haider abdulreda Tamimi, the E-Learning Unit, in cooperation with the Continuous Education Unit, held a festival entitled(Creators from Basra ).

The festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the playing of the national anthem, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the esteemed president of the University of Basrah to a group of inspiring people who struggled on their way to success, who proved that the impossible is possible.

The festival, which was managed by engineer Abbas Al-Sultan, director of the E-Learning Unit, aimed to shed light on creative (talented) people in various fields, and raise morale at all levels of society, especially among students and college members.

The festival also included an operetta by the college of Fine Arts and poems on the love of homeland, in addition to a bazaar and an exhibition of plastic arts. In conclusion, the creators were honored with certificates of appreciation, wishing them success.
