The Department of Translation at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a scientific workshop entitled (the Way to English).

The workshop, in which the language instructor from cls College Institute, Mr. Bassam Samir lectured, aims to guide students towards the right steps to learn the language, the most important means of developing it, and to break the barrier of fear when speaking English, in addition to the most important ways to acquire the language and its importance in the labor market.

The workshop included giving basic tips for learning English and developing students language skills.

In the workshop, the trainer called for students to continue learning the requirements of the labor market to compete effectively in that market, by trying to activate their self-development.
