The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a visit to the Child Specialist Hospital and Hereditary Blood Diseases.

The visit, which was made by a number of professors of the department (Dr. Salem Jassem Al-Jamil and Suad Abdullah Fadih), and students of the third stage, included providing moral support and some in-kind gifts to children with cancer to raise their spirits and praise their heroism.

For his part, the instructors appreciated the role of the hospital staff for their great efforts to bring smiles back to the children and their families, wishing them a speedy recovery.
