The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basra held a panel discussion for postgraduate students (PhD).

The panel discussion dealt with several research papers, the most important of which are:

1. The first research paper, which was dealt with by Farhan Daim, was entitled (Environmental - Biological Assessment of Water Canals in Al-Hartha District).

2- The second research paper dealt with the geographical pattern of the Corona pandemic in Basra Governorate, which was presented by Muhammad Ali Abdul-Hussain.

3- The third research paper focused on (spatial analysis of commercial land uses in Dhi Qar Governorate) by Akram Ali Muhammad.
