Under the auspices of the respected Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd Kazem Al-Khafaji, the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held an exhibition that includes the creative and intellectual outputs of students through the formation of creative products and ideas for geographical phenomena, whether natural or human, such as the formation of natural models (volcanoes, earthquakes, layers of the inner core of the globe, channels, watercourses and rivers, the four seasons of the year) and models of human phenomena such as (renewable energies such as solar and wind, model farms, map design, handicraft industries, food products).

On the other hand, the exhibition included a charity bazaar, in which various materials and foodstuffs were displayed on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
