As part of a general tour to the follow-up units and divisions throughout the University of Basrah, a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the Follow-up Division in the College of Arts, under the supervision of Dr. Faisal, Director of the Follow-up Department at the University Presidency.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the progress of the work in the Follow-up Division and its employees, as well as the preparation of surveillance cameras and the follow-up of their work, after they were distributed on the scientific and administrative college departments. In addition, the follow-up and guard records for the morning and evening shifts were confirmed.

For his part, Dr. Ingers Tohme Youssef, head of the Follow-up Division at the College of Arts, confirmed that surveillance cameras remains on, even at night shifts.

At the end of the visit, the delegation inspected the firefighting system throughout the college's corridors and buildings.
