The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to Al-Noor Center for Blind Students in Basra Governorate.

The visit, which was supervised by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Rashid Abd Rashid and Dr. Kholoud Kazem, and accompanied by a number of students, included providing a detailed identification for the center's tasks and the number of students, whose number is (93). The language and curricula taught to blind students were also reviewed, and the most important means used in teaching blind students, as well as meeting with the teaching staff of the center.

At the end of the visit, Mrs. Nagham, Director of the Center, expressed her thanks and gratitude to the Dean of the College of Arts, and some gifts were distributed to the students of the center.
