On the occasion of the founding anniversary of the University of Basrah, the Department of Translation in the College of Arts held a scientific and artistic exhibition for the productions of its instructors and students.The activity included presenting the professors’ work, represented by a number of scientific books authored or translated, the most important of which is the Al-Ali Dictionary by Prof. Kazem Al-Ali, the translation of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq into English by Prof. Dr. Jassim Khalifa Sultan, and a number of books by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdel Salam Abdel Majeed Saif Al-Din, including the Media Translation Book and the Grammar Book.  The comparative book by Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Kazem Jaber, in addition to a number of other books of scientific value for translators and translation students.

The activity also included displaying a collection of paintings by student Rasha Youssef from the third stage in the evening study, which reflect the social and cultural reality of the Basran people.
