On the occasion of the University Day celebrations, the Assistan Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi inaugurated the exhibition of the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basra. The inauguration included the holding of an exhibition of dozens of books by the professors of the Geography Department, as well as the students’ productions and creations of natural and human geographic models, as well as the opening of the GIS computer laboratory in addition to the scientific library in the department that contains thousands of geographical books and blood diseases.
