A ceremony honoring the participating volunteers within the translation and organizing teams by the Administrative Deputy of the Governor of Basra, Dr. Dhurgham Al-Ajwady, for their participation in the activities of hosting the Floating Book Fair in Basrah (Logos Hope Ship).

Where a large number of students of the College of Arts participated to contribute to the translation and receive delegations, with an official assignment by the Basrah Governorate, with the translation team headed by the student in the Translation Department, Saif Al-Din Asaad Anad, and the organizing team headed by Abbas Nazim Salman.

The representative expressed his thanks and appreciation to the participating students, appreciating their efforts and honoring them with commemorative medals and certificates of appreciation.  He also praised the support of the Deanship of the College of Arts for students and encouraged them to participate in events and activities held by the governorate on various occasions.  The representative presented a commemorative shield that embodies the memory of this occasion, which was held on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab. 

At the same time, the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Abd, praised the contributions of the local government in Basra Governorate and its role in training students and encouraging them to carry out various events and activities to serve the visual community.
