Discussion of the Student Ali Hussain Hindi’s Thesis

In the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah,a master thesis entitled (Vladimir Jabotinsky and his role in the Zionist movement (1880-1940) was discussed.

The thesis presented by the student, Ali Abdul Wahid Globe, included four chapters. The first chapter discussed Vladimir Jabotinsky's biography and political thought ,the second chapter included Jabotinsky's political role 1914-1923 ,the third chapter discussed Jabotinsky's political activity in the Zionist Corrective Movement 1923-1932 , and the fourth chapter dealt with Jabotinsky's position on internal events and external developments in the mid-1930s until his death in 1940.

The thesis aims to identify the personality of Vladimir Jabotinsky as one of the prominent figures in modern and contemporary (Zionist) history, due to the great efforts he made in serving the Zionist movement.

The development of Vladimir Jabotinsky's views on Zionism, as it appears through his early orientations, as he turned towards secularism instead of the Haidar religious school, and Jabotinsky was not afraid of "non-Jews", which made him appear not to be a Jew at all, but he was a Zionist par excellence.
