The students of the Department of Arabic Language, under the auspices of the Respected President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, and under the supervision of the Respected Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majed Abdel Hamid Al-Kaabi, in cooperation with the Children Hospital Media, held a festival entitled (A Child Smile) on the College of  Arts Theater Hall in support of children with cancer. The festival included many activities, including poetry, theater, and honoring patients.

The Children  Hospital media official, Mr. Ali Ahmed Al-Ramahi, said: We established this festival in support of children with cancer, and the reason for naming the festival (A Child Smile) is to draw a smile on children faces, support them morally, and help them overcome their illness.
