The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts, University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled (Malware).

The panel discussion, in which lect. Ali Muhair Karim Al-Halfi lectured, aims to identify malicious software, what it is, its types, the ways through which this software is transmitted and the damage it causes, as well as identifying piracy operations that aim to steal or destroy information, data and money through this malicious software and what are the ways to prevent it, reducing the risk of prevention from such software.

The panel discussion concluded the importance of applying software that helps to secure information and protect computers from hacking using strong passwords, as well as anti-virus programs and other electronic programs.
