On Monday morning 5/15/2023, a master thesis entitled (Information technology applications in the Media and Communications Authority and its role in developing professional and oversight work in the southern region of Iraq) was discussed in the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah.
The thesis presented by the student Amtar Rahim Nehme included four chapters. The first chapter discussed the general framework of the study, the second chapter dealt with the conceptual framework for information technology applications in the field of information and communication, the third chapter discussed the field study, and the fourth chapter included results and recommendations.
The thesis aims to identify the material capabilities available in the Media and Communications Authority in the southern region of Iraq.
The thesis concluded that information technology applications have a major role in advancing professional and oversight work, especially those related to the communications network.
The thesis recommended the need to develop technologies in terms of security to ensure control over all the Authority's attachments.
