Dr. Kazem Khalaf Al-Ali was accepted as a teaching member in the translation department at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah in the General Union of writers and authors in Iraq, and this came through a congratulatory letter sent by Mr. Omar al-Sarai, the Secretary General of the Union to Dr. Al-Ali, this text:

It is worth noting that Professor Dr. has translated many Iraqi literary works into English, including a collection of  Baqia Dial by Abd al-Karim al-Samer, the novel “10:30 Washington Time” by Bassem al-Qatrani, and “Tishreen Poems” by a group of Iraqi poets, in addition to two books on literature and criticism: A Study of Literary Theory and A Guide to Literary Theory and Literary Criticism.
