As part of his keen follow-up to the progress of the work of the colleges, the respected President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, visited the College of Arts, and he was received by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi.

The visit included following up the maintenance work in the college and reviewing the latest achievements. He also reviewed the conduct of competitive examinations for postgraduate studies, appreciating the efforts of the College Deanship in providing the necessary and appropriate atmosphere for the conduct of the educational process.
