On Sunday, 7/23/2023, the IELTS course started at the Living Languages ​​Center in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah.

The course aims to prepare for the English language proficiency exam (IELTS), which has become one of the requirements for applying for postgraduate studies, in addition to being a prerequisite for studying outside Iraq or working in many international institutions ,The duration of the course is 40 hours and includes training on the four skills included in the IELTS exam, which are listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Registration is still open for the course. Those wishing to participate in the course can visit the Living Languages Center in the College of Arts for the purpose of registration.
