The Living Languages ​​Center at the College of Arts at the University of Basra held an IELTS English proficiency exam on Thursday, 7/27/2023 in the multimedia language laboratory.

The IELTS exam was conducted in both types (general and academic) according to the participants choice.The first part of the exam, which includes testing the skills (listening, reading and writing) began at nine o'clock in the morning. As for the second part, which includes the speaking skill test, it started at one o'clock in the afternoon.

It is worth noting that the  Living Languages Center ​​at the College of Arts / University of Basrah is the first center authorized to administer the IELTS exam from the British Council.
