The Living Languages Center at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held an IELTS English proficiency exam on Thursday, 8/17/2023, in the multimedia language laboratory. The IELTS exam was conducted in both types (general and academic) according to the participants choice. The first part of the exam, which includes testing the skills (listening, reading and writing) began at nine o'clock in the morning.The speaking skill test took place on Wednesday.
It is worth noting that the Center for Living Languages at the College of Arts / University of Basra is the only center in the southern region authorized to administer the IELTS exam from the British Council.
