The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, directed all public and private universities to stop exams for the second attempt, starting from the first of next September until the ninth of the same month, coinciding with the peak of the mass momentum marching towards the holy Karbala from all governorates of Iraq, to ​​commemorate the holy visit on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the martyrdom of the Imam Al-Hussein and his family and supporters, peace be upon them all.

In this regard, the Ministry affirms that it has authorized the university councils to process and adapt the belongings of the second attempt exams, according to what is required to complete this file and the necessary preparations for the start of the new academic year.
