Discussion of the Student Ikhlas Abdel Salam Abdel Bari

A PhD thesis entitled (The Stylistic Construction in the poetry of Iraqi women) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah.

The thesis presented by the student, Ikhlas Abdel Salam Abdel Bari, included three chapters (the morphological stylistic structure, its significance and characteristics, the stylistic compositional structure, and the stylistic semantic structure).

The study aims to shed light on the stylistic structure in Iraqi women’s poetry in the time period (1980-2000 AD). This is what characterized the poetry of poets in that period, as it expressed her psychological reality and her external surroundings, in addition to the Iraqi poet’s special abilities to influence the recipient, and make him in a state of continuous attraction.

Among the most prominent findings of the research:

The Iraqi poet showed her uniqueness and creative ability in shaping a stylistic structure that has aesthetic values ​​through her employment of linguistic elements, as well as the Iraqi poet's tendency towards the philosophical and contemplative side in some of her poems. In order to communicate her idea and vision, her topics were not limited to passion, nature, and the homeland, but rather her poems were lined with a contemplative philosophical hint, which gave stylistic features and features to her poetic text.
