Instructor at College of Arts Receives Award in Competition of Articles on Prophet’s Grandson Birth

 

The instructor in the College of Arts, Department of History, and the director of the college library, Professor Dr. Alaa Kamel Al-Issawi won one of the three awards in the annual competition held by the Iranian Center for Education, Studies and Cooperation in cooperation with the Heritage and Manuscripts Unit in the College of Arts. 

Al-Issawi stated that he received the award for his article entitled (the influence of the marriage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to Mrs. Shah Zanan in spreading Shiism in Persia). 

It is worth mentioning that the title of the competition is: a scientific article on the occasion of the birth of the grandson of the Prophet (peace be upon him) the imam of generosity and giving, Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him).
