On Wednesday morning, 18/11/2020, in the Department of Information and Libraries, a diploma research entitled Women's Human Resources Working in School Libraries in the City of Basra, a Survey.
The research, which is submitted by researcher Nuha Abdul Hameed Abdul Haleem, included four chapters. The first chapter discusses the general framework of the research. The second chapter explains the theoretical part, while the third chapter shows the practical part of the research. The fourth chapter addresses the conclusions and the recommendations.
The research aims to highlight the female resources working in school libraries, their scientific qualifications and the suitability of library work for women. It also discusses the pros and cons of library work to learn about them and to find the best ways to solve them.
The research reaches a number of conclusions: working on supplying school libraries with feminist human resources specialized in information science and libraries by providing job grades for specialized female librarians, activating participation between female librarians in school libraries through annual
school fairs for libraries and activating field visits to exchange experiences.
