A seminar entitled "Preparing the Electronic Lecture and the Student Interaction"

The Continuing Education Unit in the College of Arts, in cooperation with the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems, organized a seminar entitled "Preparing the Electronic Lecture and the Student Interaction

The symposium was attended by Dr. Shukri Ibrahim Taher Al-Hassan, Dr. Hamid Atieh Abdel-Hussein and Dr. Osama Ismail Othman Al-Rashed.

The symposium had shed the light on the need to rely on an alternative way to continue the educational and communication process with students due to the Corona pandemic crisis, as the most prominent obstacles and successes of e-learning were addressed, as well as the steps for creating and disseminating the electronic lecture.

 The symposium aims to train teachers and lecturers on how to prepare the electronic lecture and publish it on the electronic platforms and choose the best method for the lecture that achieves interaction and benefit for students.

The lecturers recommended the necessity of continuing to adopt electronic education (remotely) in the light of the continuing outbreak of the Corona epidemic, and the establishment of electronic platforms such as Classroom and Telegram communication channels because they are easy to deal with, and choosing to prepare the lecture in a way (presentation video) as it is the most interactive and understanding of students, and choosing the appropriate electronic tools and applications to prepare and publish the electronic lecture.
