The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts, in cooperation with the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems, organized an electronic scientific lecture entitled E-Learning in the Light of the Continuing Corona Virus Pandemic .. Survey of the Educational Community’s Opinion
The lecture presented by Professor Hoda Daoud Najm Al-Saad included an explanation of the concept of e-learning, its types and the most important concepts related to it, as this activity was linked to the reality of the spread of the Covid-19 virus and its reflection on the reality of education and the pursuit of e-learning to complete the curriculum.
The lecture called for the necessity for e-learning to have a role in the educational process and for all academic stages even after the end of the epidemic and preparing to face emergency crises such as the spread of epidemics or when political crises or other occurred.
The lecture aimed to evaluate the e-learning experience as it is one of the new experiences in our society as it constituted a global phenomenon, as well as the application that needs some basic rules such as the availability of the Internet and the preparation of curricula that fit the current circumstance, and the work of educational courses for teachers and students.
