Under the supervision of  President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts,  Professor Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, and in cooperation with the Registration and Student Affairs Department of the University of Basrah, the College of Arts hosted in the theater hall a scientific workshop entitled (Electronic University Management Program: UMS).

The workshop, which was lectured by Professor Dr. Haider Jassim Fadel, and supervised by Professor Dr. Shukri Shaker Falih and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdel Zahra, aims to increase knowledge of the University of Basra management platform.

And the latest updates regarding the work of those authorized in scientific departments to manage the system. The workshop explained to the attendees how to manage the file of teachers, curricula, students, classrooms, study schedules, graduation projects, create accounts for teachers and students, and record absences in light of this system. It also explained how students can enter the system and register for the lesson schedule according to the timings. That suits them, registering for the projects they desire, as well as creating parents accounts to be directly informed of the academic progress.
