The University of Basrah Discusses PhD Thesis on Grammatical Semantics in the Poetry Collection of the Poet Kazim Al-Hajjaj

PhD thesis at the Department of Arabic language at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah discussed (the grammatical semantics in the poetry collection of the poet Kazim Al-Hajjaj).

 

The researcher Saleh Subeih Hashem’s thesis included three chapters in which he talked about the syntactic significance and the parsing significance, in addition to the significance of the letters of meanings.

The thesis aims to investigate and trace the semantic-grammatical impact in the collection of the Basri poet Kazim al-Hajjaj and to know the semantic-grammatical aspects included in the collection.

The thesis concluded employing grammatical structures in a manner consistent with the poetic language and reaching the depth of the meaning of the poetic text through the syntactic connotation and employing the grammatical connotation of the letters of meanings in a successful semantic manner that serves the literary text.

The thesis recommended the need to intensify semantic studies of literary texts and delve into their depths linguistically.
