A Field Visit to the Central Library

A group of students from the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, accompanied by their professors, Dr. Hala Ghaleb and assistant lecturer Nidal Nima Abdel Qader, visited the central library.

 

Dr. Hala Ghaleb Al-Nahi explained that this visit was part of the activities that the department began to receive first-stage students and introduce students to the most important sections of the library, how each section works, what is the most important mechanism used in technical work, how to enter information and data for beneficiaries, how the global section works, and how to deliver knowledge to beneficiaries as quickly as possible. High precision in developing the knowledge economy and the role of the central library in developing work according to the knowledge economy for the benefit of beneficiaries.

The students and their instructors expressed their great pleasure at the warm reception and the amount of effort made by the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Dr. Thikra, and all the staff of the Central Library.
