The lecturer in the English Language Department at the College of Arts at the University of Basra, Dr. Ahmed Mani’ Hoshan, participated in a scientific seminar on domestic violence, its causes, and ways to treat it in Iraqi society, which was held at the College of Law, University of Basra, on Wednesday, 6/12/2023, with the participation of an elite group of Basra University professors and the community police.

It included giving a lecture on the causes of domestic violence, which are social, economic, psychological, and other causes related to social and environmental upbringing.

 

The lecture discussed ways to find effective treatments to reduce the phenomenon of domestic violence.
