The Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled (Aspects of the Social and Economic Life of Fatimid Egypt in Light of the Texts of the Egyptian Theater News book (d. 420 AH 1029)).

Professor Ansam Ghadhban Abboud chaired the panel discussion.

Researcher Nada Hashem Hammadi reviewed the most important titles and contents of the chapters of their research projects and provided a summary of them. After that, they were discussed by the department professors who attended the discussion circle and presented them with many ideas and opinions with the aim of strengthening and supplementing their messages and their approach to research.
