Rehabilitation and Operation of the Dairy Products Manufacturing Plant at the University of Basrah

With God blessing and success, with the support of the respected President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the dairy products manufacturing plant belonging to the Food Research and Consumer Protection Unit in the College of Agriculture was rehabilitated and operated. It includes yoghurt and cheese, which are subject to laboratory tests in accordance with Iraqi standard specifications.

The current production capacity is 120 kg, and God willing, it can be expanded to 3 tons per day once the large tanks are connected. The product will be released in the special marketing outlets in the College of Agriculture, including the Bab Al-Zubair outlet, the marketing center, and the rest of the university outlets.
