On Tuesday morning, 01/12/2020, a member of the Iraqi Parliament from Basra Governorate, Dr. Abd Aoun Allawi Al-Abadi, visited the Deanship of the College of Arts, where he was briefed on the progress of the construction process in the building of the departments of the new College of Arts.

      He was received by Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi, who in turn explained the existing construction process as well as the many obstacles faced by the Deanship of the College in completing the construction as quickly as possible, and the deputy promised to overcome the difficulties and remove the obstacles that stand behind this confusion in order to improve the infrastructure of the college which is one of the founding colleges of Basra University.
