Professor Dr. Shukri Ibrahim Al-Hassan participated with professors from other colleges and universities in writing a new scientific book, issued in 2024, entitled (Environmental Chemistry and Pollution).The book is intended for students and researchers in the fields of chemistry, environment, agriculture, geography, and related scientific branches.

The book includes six chapters: the first represents the concept of environmental chemistry and pollution, while the second, third, and fourth chapters discuss the chemistry of the atmosphere, water, and rocks, respectively. The fifth chapter deals with the chemistry of environmental pollutants, and the book concludes with a sixth chapter that deals with chemistry.
