A Master Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines (Grammatical Facilitation in the Arabic Grammar Curriculum for the Preparatory Stage in Iraq, “a Critical Analytical Study”)

A master thesis in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, examined (grammatical facilitation in the Arabic grammar curriculum for the preparatory stage in Iraq, “a critical analytical study”).
The thesis of the researcher Kifaya Hussein Younis included three chapters (the facilitation movement in Arabic grammar and its impact on the methodological book, the approach to Arabic grammar in the treatment of specialists, and the book Arabic grammar, its issues and rulings (a critical analytical study)).
The thesis aims to identify the impact of the movement to facilitate Arabic grammar in the curriculum book prescribed for the preparatory stage in Iraq, and the extent of its effectiveness in facilitating the book issues and rulings for students.
The thesis concluded: The facilitation movement had a clear impact in facilitating the educational methodological book, and it succeeded in facilitating some of the book’s issues and failed in others. Therefore, the thesis recommended that more care be taken while developing Arabic language curricula, especially with regard to its grammar, to suit the spirit of the times and its developments, and to take into account the requirements and aspirations of the Iraqi student, by focusing on the grammar that develops his verbal, auditory, and written skills.
