A Master Thesis at the University of Basrah Discusses (The Iranian Kurdish Political Movement 1979-1991)

A master thesis in the Department of History, College of Arts, University of Basrah,  researched (The Iranian Kurdish Political Movement 1979-1991).
The thesis presented by the student Aqil Jabbar Katta included four chapters (the Kurdish political movement in the Pahlavi era 1925-1979, the Iranian Kurdish political movement and the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the political activity of the Kurdish movement in Iran 1980-1988, and the political developments of the Kurdish movement in Iran until 1991).
The thesis aims to shed light on the political developments of minorities in Iran, especially the Kurdish nationality, which is the focus of the thesis.

The thesis concluded that all non-Persian minorities, especially the Kurdish nationality, were not given their national rights after the success of the Islamic Revolution, because they conflicted with the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of 1979.
The thesis recommended that all minorities in Iran should be given equal rights, especially since Iran is home to many non-Persian minorities.
