A master's thesis at the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah examined (the significance of news structures in the poetry of Abdul Karim Rajab Al-Yasiri).
The thesis, presented by researcher Zahraa Jabbar Abdul Ali, included three chapters (the significance of positive news structures, the significance of negative news structures, and the significance of affirmative news structures).
The study aims to shed light on the use and induction of news styles and structures in poetic texts in order to uncover and investigate their significance and clarify the poet's purpose in them.
The study concluded that there is diversity in the poet's news structures patterns, and this diversity led to multiple meanings and rhetorical purposes in them, and that his reliance on the meaning of news structures came for the purpose of conveying a message that carries a symbol that the recipient infers from the poetic texts, and therefore it needs to be analyzed in order to reach the hidden meaning or symbol present in its folds, and accordingly the poet shed light on the intended meaning by using one of the methods that pertain to the positive, negative, or affirmative structures.
