PhD Thesis at Basrah University on Spatial Analysis of Environmental Response Indicators for Middle School Students in Basra Governorate

A PhD thesis in the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah discussed (Spatial analysis of environmental response indicators for middle school students in Basra Governorate).
The thesis, presented by researcher Sadiq Yasser Jaber, included four chapters (the theoretical and scientific basis and spatial analysis of indicators of archaeology, communication with the environment and environmental adaptation and spatial analysis of indicators of trust in the environment and tendency to machines and environmental privacy and spatial analysis of indicators of rurality, simplicity, search for excitement and urbanism)
The thesis aims to identify:
1 - Knowing the behavior of students towards their different environments and the extent of their adaptation and feeling of psychological comfort and confidence in these environments and according to the difference in their nature.
2 - The importance of this study lies in knowing the environmental response of middle school students in Basra Governorate and students' reactions towards their residential areas.
3- Knowing the differences in responses and answers of middle school students in Basra Governorate and at the level of the districts in the governorate, and according to gender.
The thesis concluded:
1- Middle school students in Basra Governorate have environmental awareness, and this was evident through the responses of the sample members in the scientific questionnaire form.
2- The clear difference in the environmental response of middle school students in Basra Governorate and according to the districts.
3- The study showed the difference between the response of boys and girls and the difference in their behaviors and behavior patterns in their environments and places of residence in particular, and at the level of the governorate in general, and perhaps the physiological factor has an important role in this difference in responses among students.
