A master thesis in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah researched (Morphological research in the book Al-Jadwal in the syntax, morphology and explanation of the Quran).
The thesis, presented by researcher Rawan Jassim Muhammad, included four chapters (verb structures, source structures, derivative structures, and plural structures).
The study aims to study the morphological formula from all its aspects, whether in terms of form and structure or in terms of meaning and its relationship with the Quranic text.
The thesis concluded that the visions presented by the author were linked to the opinion of a linguist or interpreter, and this explains to us the extent of the cognitive depth of Professor Mahmoud Safi in his review of these linguistic codes, with the emergence of an important mechanism among the mechanisms that were present in directing the morphological forms, which is the context. The context in all its forms had a prominent presence in determining and directing the meaning, which made many morphologists rely on the general context in interpreting the morphological form, in addition to presenting the scientific material in a sophisticated style far from affectation, until he conveyed the material to its seekers in an easy and accessible manner, consistent with the method that the author had outlined.
